Welcome to Designs by Ruthie! I'm so glad you're here. Throughout the years, I have worked with a variety of media, from beading to card-making, painting abstractly to drawing realistic portraits, illustrating children's books to felting to clay-working.  Throughout it all, however, creating with yarn has been a constant that I have returned to again and again.  I delight in creating whimsical designs that appeal to the childlike nature in others, each with a practical purpose so that the items can both be used and enjoyed.  Explore this website and let me know what you think.  I'd love to hear back from you!
